This Hazel Atlas Moderntone Berry Bowl features the Platonite Paste Pink color. The Hazel Atlas Moderntone line featured a simple, sleek design with horizontal ribbing on the exterior of the pieces. The Platonite Pink color was one of the various colors offered in the Moderntone line. Platonite is a type of opaque glass that was favored for its durability and resistance to chipping.
The bowl is in great vintage condition. There are a few utensil marks on the inside bottom consistent with age and use and some small indentations in the glass on the side (seem to be original). (see pictures)
