The Elson Child-Library Readers were planned as an extension series to go along with the school reading program from the 20’s. The Green cloth boards have orange lettering on the front and the spine, plus a light house on the front and it is illustrated. Copyright 1923 by Scott, Foresman and Company.
This book is in very good antique shape. There is wear on the edges of the binding and cover consistent with age. The binding is in good shape with a minor split in the middle of the book. The pages are intact and secure in the book. There are a few minor tears on the top of page 139 and pages 289 to 294, page 179 has a tear on the bottom (see pictures). There is an inscription on the front fly page and some marks on the back fly page, otherwise no marks.
