This Set of 4 vintage Lady Clare small placemats or oversized coasters were made in England. Each features colorful illustrations of traditional Scottish clansmen on a lacquered board with gold trim and felt backing. These smaller-sized mats are perfect for light meals, tea service, or decorative display. The listing is for 4 mats, but there are actually 5 included...there is a duplicate of the MacLean mat.
